Lead poses a serious health risk, as it is associated with anaemia as well as learning and behavioural problems in children and premature birth or miscarriage in pregnant women.

This simple, easy to use test kit enables you to check for the presence of lead  on the surface of everything from paint to toys, pottery, electronics, dust, jewellery and water pipe solder. Each kit enables you to take up to 4 samples.

Immediately before use, clean the surface to be sampled.  Insert the cotton swab into the indicator vial, then gently rub the test surface for 30 seconds. If the swab changes colour, lead is present.
