Building Wellness offers a range of building biology services, each of which identifies and provides recommended solutions for particular indoor health hazards. These services are available individually or can be grouped in any combination to suit your specific needs.

 

Basic Preliminary Consultation

If you are uncertain about the types of health hazards existing in your home, you may wish to have a 1.5 hr  Basic Preliminary Consultation which provides an overview of the main observable health hazards in your indoor environment. This assessment consists of 

  •  
    • a visual inspection of your indoor environment
  •  
    • EMF and RF readings in key areas (e.g. bedrooms)
  •  
    • dowsing for the presence of geopathic stress (no remediation is carried out)
  •  
    • the use of a moisture to detect damp building materials in wet areas 
  •  
    • a hand written report describing the observed health hazards and recommending the next steps to be taken

 

The cost of a Basic Preliminary Consultation in the Melbourne Metropolitan area is $297. 

 

Specific Assessments 

pylon_small.jpg Electromagnetic Field (EMF) testing and shielding identifies hazards associated with the electricity supply and electrical appliances.

Mobile Phone Phone Tower and Radio frequency (RF) testing and shielding identifies hazards associated with the radiation from mobile phone, telecommunications and wireless technologies.

mould Moisture detection and visual mould inspection identifies hazards associated with excess moisture in building materials and furnishings. Mould sampling can be conducted if required.

Open Window Indoor air quality assessment and air sampling identifies hazards associated with the presence of high or low relative humidity and chemicals in the indoor environment.                             

Stones Geomancy (Geopathic Stress Assessment) identifies hazards associated with geopathic stress i.e. natural or man-made energies, emanating from the earth, which are detrimental to human health.

Contract Pre-purchase and pre-lease inspections of buildings or vacant land utilize a selection of the above testing methods to identify hazards existing in a potential home or workplace site

Clean Water Water filter recommendations provide details of the most suitable product to meet your requirements for more desirable drinking water.



 

 

 

Cost of services

The cost of services varies according to the building size and location and the type(s) of testing and reporting required.
