Recently, concerns have been raised about the possible adverse health effects of chemicals such as bisphenol-A leaching into baby's milk from baby bottles. On 24th September, 2009, a story featured on Today Tonight described concerns with the presence of Bisphenol-A in baby bottles and food and beverage containers. As this chemical is an endocrine disruptor which mimics oestrogen, it has been found to be associated with numerous health problems. While selected products, including baby bottles and water bottles, which are made from bispshenol-A have been banned in some countries, they are still freely available in Australia.

Staff exposure to wireless internet RF's |

Tony, an office manager, had been asked by one of his employees whether or not their newly installed wireless internet system was "safe", as he was concerned that exposure to high RF levels could be associated with adverse health effects. Tony therefore asked that his office space be assessed for RF exposure, first with the wireless internet turned on, then with it turned off.

Clinton was keen to lease office space in a refurbished building, but was concerned about exposure to radio frequency radiation (RF's) from a bank of mobile phone masts located on the roof of the building. He therefore requested that RF levels in his potential office space be assessed.

Sam and Tracey were keen to purchase a corner block of land which was part of a sub-divided block. They were aware that there were high voltage power lines at the end of their street. As they planned to start a family soon, they wanted to ensure that the block was not exposed to high magnetic field levels from the high voltage lines.
