Does Cellsafe really work? |
|
Recently, there was a story on a national television programme about "Cellsafe", a device that claims to divert mobile phone radiation away from the head when the phone is held to the ear. Alasdair Philips, from "Powerwatch", has written a very informative piece about this device which can be accessed here . In this commentary, he describes not only what Cellsafe does, but also explains that it may actually make mobile phone usage more dangerous rather than making it safer.

On 24th September, 2009, a story featured on Today Tonight described concerns with the presence of Bisphenol-A in baby bottles and food and beverage containers. As this chemical is an endocrine disruptor which mimics oestrogen, it has been found to be associated with numerous health problems. While selected products, including baby bottles and water bottles, which are made from bispshenol-A have been banned in some countries, they are still freely available in Australia.
