Improve air quality with indoor plants
To help remove chemicals from indoor air, keep indoor plants. The plants absorb the chemicals, which are then broken down by microbes that live on the plant roots. Good plants to use include Bamboo Palm (Chamaedorea seifrizii), Rubber Plant (Ficus robusta), Dwarf  Date Palm (Phoenix robelenii), Boston Fern (Nephrolepis exaltata "Bostoniensis") and Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum sp.)
