Effects of pre-natal exposure to endocrine disruptors interactive table

Endocrine disruptors are chemicals which interfere with normal hormone activity. Foetal exposure to even low levels of these chemicals may affect either normal growth and development or normal physiological functioning throughout life.

The Endocrine Disruption Exchange has reviewed hundreds of peer-reviewed research papers on the possible effects of pre-natal exposure to bisphenol A, dioxin and phthalates and summarised their findings in the form of an interactive table, called "The Critical Windows of Development", that is available at http://www.criticalwindows.com/go_display.php

This table allows the reader to see which body systems, glands and organs are adversely affected by exposure to these chemicals at various times during foetal development. It is easy to use and the information is displayed in a simple, easy-to-understand format.
