Dr George Carlo, an expert in the study of health effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) exposure, has raised concerns regarding the high number of electro-hypersensitive people who are reporting serious symptom relapses after 9 to 18 months’ use of products which claim to be protective against EMR.

He states that relapse symptoms are often worse than the original symptoms, which suggests that people are more badly affected after using the protective devices than they were previously. He explains that this can happen if the devices are used without simultaneously taking steps to both reduce exposure to EMR and repair the damage already done to the body’s cells by this exposure.

If EMR exposure is not reduced, cell damage will continue to occur until it reaches a critically harmful level at which the protective devices are no longer effective. It is at this point that aggravated symptom relapses are experienced.

Dr Carlo urges people who wish to use EMR protection devices to demand to see proof of their safety and efficacy before purchasing them. He also warns that these products should not be used without appropriate guidance from a qualified clinician.
